Shift: Morning
Relocation assistance negotiable.
Summary: Perform cardiac device interrogations & interpret for the physician and troubleshoot when necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates implantable device programmers from all companies
- Interviews patients, interrogate device, interpret, and document diagnostics
- Monitor patients’ devices by receiving event alerts and summary reports
- Inform/alert physician to any therapy or pertinent events in a timely manner.
- Contact patients to answer questions or troubleshoot home monitoring connections
- Schedule patients into device clinic as required
- Stay informed to new cardiac devices and algorithms available
- Report device malfunctions, codes, and advisories
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Other related duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of implantable cardiac devices from all companies, cardiac anatomy and physiology
- Basic pharmacology, specifically anticoagulants and antiarrhythmics
- Interpretation of diagnostics, EKG’s and EGM’s
- Ability to effectively communicate
Minimum Qualifications:
- Some knowledge of EKG’s, three- or twelve-lead
- Six (6) months in clinic as a cardiac device specialist
Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour

- cardiac device specialist: 1 year (Preferred)
- EKG: 1 year (Preferred)
