Job Responsibilities:

Works with the collaborating and supervisory physicians of Pima Heart.
Co-admits selected patients to the hospital and performs history and physical exams under the guidance of the supervisory physicians.
Performs rounds on selected patients and writes progress notes.
Writes orders, which will be co-signed by the attending physician.
Orders labs and studies on inpatients and outpatients.
Performs exercise treadmill tests, Persantine or Adenosine sestamibi studies on inpatients and outpatients under supervision of the supervising physicians.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with a major in Nursing from a State Board of Nursing approved school of nursing with satisfactory completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program.
Currently licensed to practice nursing in the State of Arizona. Certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the State Board of Nursing
