Pima Heart and Vascular now offers Telehealth services, so you can meet with your provider from the comfort and safety of home.
What is telehealth?
Telehealth or telemedicine is a virtual visit with your medical provider that you do using your smartphone, tablet or computer. If you have this and a reliable wireless internet connection, you can have a telemedicine appointment!
How does it work
Using your smartphone, tablet, or computer, your telemedicine appointment will require access to your device speakers and camera so that the doctor can see you.
If you have the appropriate technology, we will provide you with a link specific to your doctor that allows you to access their “virtual waiting room.”
The MA and doctor will join you in this room when they are ready to start your appointment.
Once they join, you can both see and speak to each other by video.
How do I make a telehealth appointment?
Call us at (520) 838-3540 and ask if telehealth appointments are an option for you. Some appointments may not qualify for telehealth as they require a physical examination or in-person testing.

Adjusting your settings for Telehealth- Quick Tips
All patients with an iPhone should follow these steps:
- Open settings
- Scroll to Safari and tap on it
- Scroll to Camera and open it
- Set to “Allow”
- Hit the blue Safari
- Microphone is located directly under Camera
- Tap on Microphone
- Select “Allow”
- Close everything out, you should be on the home screen
- Now open the link and follow the instructions
When you open the link, be sure to allow the camera and microphone on the first try. If they are blocked, follow these steps:
- Open Chrome
- Click the 3 dots in the top right-hand corner
- Go to “Site settings”
- Unblock the Camera and microphone
- Refresh the device and try the link again.
